NAD 3020A Recap and Repair

This amplifier was brought to me from a family member. It's not been used for a while but had a typical start-up whump sound. A replacement capacitor kit was purchased from a supplier in Germany. It sounded an easy task and started off that way but a fault developed half way through, causing imbalance and oscillation on the right hand channel. This fault turned out to be a dry joint, once a blanket resoldering was carried out, the fault cleared and the amp performed perfectly. Hope you enjoy my frustrations with this amplifier, it caused a lot of head scratching.
