If I am being truthfully honest, I think the whole idea of renting is dumb haha! If you plan to stay in the rental for a couple of years you might as well look into buying a house. When you rent you are putting a lot of money into staying at this property with zero equity to show. However, for many people, Seattle is just a moment in time. This meaning, they will be here for a few years,, but won't settle here long term, so renting is a viable option for them.
Seattle's average rent is about $1,621 a month, 600-700 more dollars than the national average. Most likely you will be getting a studio, or a micro-studio for that price if you want to live in the city. Based on my current rental, I am showing you a rough idea of what you can get for just $1,000 near the city of Seattle.
