Installing a Märklin Home+Distant Combo Light Signal 76495/76496/76497 (Beginner Episode 5e)

This is the 5th video in a 6-part video series on how to install and use Märklin signals. This will enable you to use the signals with the Mobile Station and Central Station. In this video series it is illustrated how to use the signals with the Mobile Station 2 (MS2) and Central Station 3 (CS3).

This 5th video in the series shows you how to install a combined Home+Distant light signal. The Märklin 76496 exit 4 aspect signal is used as examples. The tutorial can also be used for the Märklin 76495 (block 2 aspect) signal and the Märklin 76497 (entry 3 aspect) signal.

Installing the combined home+ distant signal you need to think about how the signal fits in the grand scheme. The signal is installed after a normal distant signal and before a home block signal. How to plan and program this is shown on both the MS2 and the CS3.

ALWAYS do the installation with POWER OFF and read the manual.
