How to make Lebanese Green Beans or Lubi

This is how to make Lebanese Green Beans With Meat and Rice. Lubi is a delicious traditional dish that could be made with beef or the vegetarian version which is referred to as Lubi bzayt (green beans with olive oil.)
2 lbs green beans (cut to 1inch pieces)
1 large yellow onion (Diced)
2 whole heads of garlic broken up (optional keep the peel on)
1 cup fresh diced tomatoes
1 can organic canned diced tomatoes
2 tbsp organic tomato paste
2 bay leaves
1 stick of cinnamon
2 cardamom seeds
3 cloves
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tbsp avocado oil
1 Lb cubed beef (beef for stew)
-In large pan warm up your oil.
-Sautés the onions until transparent, then throw in the garlic & toss around for 2-3 minutes
-add beef (cook 3/4 of the way through)
-add your water (enough to cover the meat)
-add the dry spices and herbs
-after the meat is fully cooked add the green beans.
once the green beans are cooked to your liking it is ready to eat.
Salt and pepper to taste.
