If your relationships, money, health or life at large feel out of control and you feel powerless to change your circumstances, you might be experiencing learned helplessness—a hidden cause that affects how we act, feel, and think in more ways than you may realise. It is at the root of many mental and physical health issues, including depression, anxiety and borderline personality disorder, struggling with boundaries, people pleasing, slouched posture, digestive problems..... and, unresolved, can cause havoc in our lives when we don't understand it and don't know how to be with it/heal it. It is a massive issue in the collective consciousness, which I will talk a little bit about too.
In the video I explain what learned helplessness is, what causes it and most importantly, how to break the cycle using somatic processing and accessing your power.
