How to Make Double-Sided Mitered Flanges for Pillows...with Striped Fabric

Stripes are fun to use for decorative details like pillow flanges, but they can be very difficult to execute. Mitered corners can also be difficult especially double-sided mitered corners. So, imagine trying to combine these two difficult details together. I made this tutorial to explain each step of the process when making a double-sided mitered flange with a striped fabric, how to sew the flange onto the pillow face fabric, and then how to finish the pillow. I also show where and how to put a zipper in a pillow with a flange. Each mitered corner will match, and all the stripes will line up creating a beautiful pattern.
