About the presenters:
Dr. Teresa Cheung, PhD is a Fraser Health clinical scientist and assistant professor of professional practice at the School of Engineering Science at Simon Fraser University. Her research interests include the development of new MEG imaging and analysis methods, modeling cognitive processes in time, frequency and phase, beamformer source analysis, and spectral connectivity methods. Dr. Cheung conducts a wide array of research studies, including pediatric advances in Down Syndrome, autism, and epilepsy research. Dr. Cheung was actively involved in the development of MEG hardware and software through long years of cooperation and consulting with CTF-MEG Neuroinnovations Inc including clinical software for analysis of MEG epilepsy data. Dr. Cheung's research is supported through grants from CIHR, DARPA, and NSERC.
Dr. Maggie Clarke, PhD, is the associate director and head of MEG program at ImageTech Lab at Simon Fraser University. Her research interests include MEG method development and validation as well as studying the neural networks involved in language processing in infants and young children.
