Figured I'd put my old replays to good use.
Quickest LMP in the game. Took some tuning to iron out it's kinks. Still proved difficult as it's a very pointy car, especially nervous under braking.
I remember placing 6th World Rank (3rd quickest C60) in a 700PP Sierra Seasonal Event PD hosted back in 2015 using this car. At 700PP I ran a time of 6:22. The quickest C60 was done by Wolf_Aono with a 6:18 or 6:19 if I recall correctly.
I have runs of these Group C cars as well: Minolta, R92CP, Sauber C9 and Peugeot 905.
I also have a bunch of saved races from my time on GT6 dated 2013 - 2017. Maybe I'll upload a montage one day. Until then, time trials like this will do.
Why GT6 and not GT Sport? Two reasons:
First, I don't play anymore.
Second, I don't care for the tire model in GT Sport nor it's road car physics. All road cars appear to corner with the same lateral G. The racing cars have some variance. I'm assuming this is done for parity because of PD's focus on the FIA sanctioned racing aspect of the game. But as far as I'm concerned, playing a game in which a Ford Raptor corners the same as a Ford GT - to the point you can layer their best lap ghosts on top of one another - is not something in which I'm interested.
Hopefully GT7 will bring us something better.
