"I Am Videotaping You Because You're Surveilling Me"

Today's installment brings me back to this USPS location In Tustin, which is a revisit, so this time I wasn't necessarily focused on the employees but more so to see how the general public would respect my right to record in public. out of a handful of encounters, there was one that stood out in particular. As one of the customers was about to pull into the parking lot, he yelled out his window at me to "turn that shi* off" then gave me a double 1 finger salute , before backing out into the street & parking along the curb. He walked over to me, wanting to know why I was recording him & I told him to move out of my shot. He moved to my right & I asked him who he was. He had his phone out & said he was recording me now because he claimed I was surveilling him. I asked if he lived in that much fear & told him I didn't care who he was. He then gave his name as Bob, and at the moment I questioned him on why he was giving me so much information, he lunged forward towards me. Thankfully, I put my arm with a closed fist up, in case he wanted to make physical contact . He backed off & I told him to just walk away. He then turned again toward me, still wanting to know why I was recording him & it was at that moment I didn't want to deal with his nonsense any further, so I let him have it. Along with some choice words & told him he was in public & asked if he was really that dumb & also called him stupid. As he was finally walking away, I told him he wasn't even an afterthought until he made himself the center of attention. After he conducted his business inside, I was still documenting him for my safety, just in case he wanted to act up again as he proceeded to his vehicle. Of course, he gave another 1 finger salute as he got in his car , then drove away without any further incidents.
This one got a bit heated indeed.
