I could not use the Petcock to drain the radiator because it was inaccessible. It's inaccessible since when the tech changed my radiator, he forgot to move the lower rubber isolators from the old radiator to the new radiator. This caused the radiator to sit about 1/2 inch lower than is usual and this made the Petcock valve inaccessible to me.

As a workaround, I siphoned the coolant out as shown in the video by using Vinyl tubing with 1/4" ID and 3/8" OD. The length used was 6' 4" long. The Vinyl tubing was very soft & flexible thereby permitting it to be easily pushed down into the radiator side tank thru the upper radiator hose inlet.

I knew that the Upper Radiator Hose & its associated Spring Clamp were not going to break because they were relatively new (less than approx 2 years old). I also knew the Radiator / Hose connection was not going to break because the Radiator was also relatively new (less than approx 1.5 years old). If these components would have been old (e.g. 6 or 7 years old or older) then there could be a risk that the Spring Clamp, the Radiator Hose or the Radiator connection could have broken. This would have resulted in extra risk & extra parts expense and labor.
