It wasn't the biggest storm by any stretch but the first storm of the season is always exciting. It did knock out power in Tofino for a few hours but otherwise damage was minimal. Since there wasn't much story to tell I left the narrative to the wind and waves.
Shot on October 1st, 2025 at The Amphitrite Lighthouse area and Big Beach in Ucluelet.
I use a 600mm zoom lens to shoot these things, please don't put yourself in danger to duplicate these shots.
