This course is designed to equip medical speech-language pathologists with the knowledge and tools needed to reduce the impact of medications on vulnerable populations. Participants will learn to identify medications that are known to cause cognitive changes and will develop strategies to effectively address these changes in collaboration with the prescribing team. By the end of the course, participants will be better prepared to advocate for their patients' cognitive well-being and work together with colleagues to ensure optimal care.
Course is offered for 0.1 ASHA CEUs – 1 Contact Hour.
