I Want My mTV! - Modifying LS Swap Accelerator Pedal for THROTTLE VALVE CABLE - UTX

Today at Ugly Truck, we're in Dire Straits to modify a DBW accelerator pedal for a TV cable on an LS swap. One of our giveaway winners was Kai, and he's keeping the original 700R4 in his swap, so that means he'll still need to use the throttle valve cable that used to go to the carburetor. We ran into a problem when we realized the LS pedal has less than 1 inch of travel, but the TV cable needs 1.5 inches. So we called in Professor Jerry to fabricate a rocker arm and linkage to give the cable some extra pull. Since we don't have the truck here, we made plenty of adjustment to make for an easy install, and hopefully this pedal will give Kai many happy miles!
