i love using gumpaste. i prefer using the 1st recipe with meringue powder. it dries faster than with the fresh egg whites. no wasted egg yolk and less hassle for me since i usually have meringue powder (egg white powder / ovasil). you can also use it for your royal icing. both recipe are tested. so if you can't find meringue powder, you can always use fresh egg whites. no excuses. hehe. 😊 try both and explore which one will best fit for you.

please watch the whole video for the list of ingredients as i cannot give the exact quantity of the powdered sugar. please watch as it will depend if you need to add more or less powdered sugar.
store in an airtight plastic wrap as it dries out quickly when exposed to air. you can also refrigerate and freeze gumpaste, but i personally do not do that. but if you do, make sure to bring them at room temperature before using it. do not refrigerate or freeze your gumpaste project (flowers, toppers, etc) as the condensation will ruin it. make sure it is fully dry before storing it in an airtight container.
