Let’s Talk in Russian #1 | Listening & Speaking Lessons

This is my first trial release it’s an absolutely new format, here I will talk about different topics and tell my opinion. I will speak mostly in Russian, below you will see the subtitles and I will give you translation of some words.

Искала - was looking for
случайно наткнулась - accidentally came across
фраза принадлежит - phrase belongs
он получил Нобелевскую Премию мира
received the Nobel Peace Prize

Оказывается - It turns out
престижная награда - prestigious award
сильная эта фраза - how powerful this phrase is
достаточно ресурсов - enough resources

ждут какой-то идеальный момент - are waiting for the perfect moment
нам нужно напоминание - we need a reminder
придумываем отговорки - come up with excuses
самое страшное - most terrible

отговорки они могут затянуться - excuses they can drag on
из года в год - from year to year
цель не продвигается - goal is not proceed
тревожный звоночек - a red flag

а что вы собственно делаете, чтобы достичь эту цель
what are you actually doing to achieve this goal
полезен для здоровья - good for health,
у вас учащенное дыхание - rapid breathing
учащенное сердцебиение - increased heartbeat

проблем с суставами - problems with joints
я отложу до понедельника - will postpone it until Monday
встаете под звук будильника - get up to the sound of an alarm clock
готовить форму - prepare uniform

вам стукнет - will turn
надо было начинать бегать - you had to start running
за этим гнаться - to chase it
видеть за горизонтом - see beyond the horizon

поставить целью - set himself the goal
по-другому - otherwise
препятствуют достижению цели - hinder the achievement of the goal
придумать себе микроцели - come up with micro-goals
приблизит вас - bring you closer

я бы такого достиг - I would have achieved this
постоянно что-то мешает - something is always on the way
путь - path
начинается всего лишь с одного шага - starts with just one step

продвинуться прямо - to move straight
буквально чуть -чуть дальше - literally a little further
берете спряжение - take the conjugation
приблизит вас - bring you closer
мы повлиять не можем - we can not influence
концентрироваться на - concentrate on
