In this video I discuss and explain Revelation 1:4-7 and I talk about some of the symbolism, in particular, the seven spirits of God. There is a lot of symbolism in the book of revelation but I think that most of it is pretty easy to figure out if we search through the scriptures to see the allusions and references to the rest of the Bible. The seven spirits of God are clearly a reference to the Spirit of God burning in the seven churches. Whether you are a preterist or a futurist, we can still have common views and interpretations on much of the symbolism in the Book of Revelation. I hope you enjoy the book of revelation explained. I will continue by series through the book of revelation and put out a video on the subject whenever I get a chance. I enjoy the book of revelation but it is quite time consuming.
