Dr. Michel Alhadeff-Jones "Developing Rhythmic Intelligence" (STRAE 2023 - 16.1.2023)

This lecture is the first one to be presented in the "Spaces, Times, & the Rhythms of Adult Education" Research Symposium Series, organized by the TRC Lab (Sunkhronos Institute) from January to June 2023. In this lecture, titled "Developing Rhythmic Intelligence: Towards a Critical Understanding of Educational Temporalities", Dr. Michel Alhadeff-Jones discusses the genealogy of his current research on rhythmic intelligence (RI) and rhythmanalysis (RA), and the research agenda associated with it. The presentations is organized around three points. The first one presents the stages of development of his research in RI. The second one proposes a working definition of the notion of RI. The third point introduces five axes of research that may be developed in relation to the study of RI and RA. This lecture was recorded during a live webinar hosted by the Sunkhronos Institute, with an international audience. The discussion and Q&A that followed are not featured in this video. Cette présentation est la première de la série de séminaires de recherche "Spaces, Times, & the Rhythms of Adult Education", organisée par le TRC Lab (Sunkhronos Institute) de janvier à juin 2023. Dans cet exposé intitulé "Développer l'intelligence rythmique : vers une compréhension critique des temporalités éducationnelles", le Dr Michel Alhadeff-Jones présente la généalogie de ses recherches actuelles sur l'intelligence rythmique (IR) et la rythmanalyse (AR), ainsi que le programme de recherche qui y est associé. La présentation s'articule autour de trois points. Le premier présente les étapes du développement de sa recherche sur l'IR. Le deuxième propose une définition de travail de la notion d'IR. Le troisième point introduit cinq axes de recherche qui peuvent être développés en relation avec l'étude de l'IR et de la RA. Cette conférence a été enregistrée lors d'un webinaire organisé par l’Institut Sunkhronos, auprès d'une audience internationale.
