Watch the moment in the Commons when Foreign Office minister Stephen Doughty told MPs that Peter Mandelson had been sacked.
Doughty said "additional information in emails" written by Mandelson had come to light, which show "the depth and extent of his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein is materially different from that known at the time of his appointment".
Neither Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer nor the new Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper were in the chamber.
