Today, in my daily routine village life,We’re off to gather yarrow.
It’s a simple herb, but full of healing. So come with me—
It soothes pain, heals wounds, brings calm.
Here in the village, when someone feels weak or downhearted,
the grandmothers brew a handful of yarrow,
just like a quiet promise of care.
I pick the flowers gently—
not too many, only what we need.
Because nature is a friend, not a storage room.
Back home, I light the old oil lamp—
the same one that holds the scent of the past in its glass.
Then I cook a simple, delicious meal,
just the way my mother taught me—with patience, with love.
By noon, Shahryar calls out to me.
We walk together to the towering mulberry trees.
The ground is scattered with dried mulberries.
We gather them one by one, laughing all the while...
Here, life means effort, love, and hope.
