My OUTLINING Method for Preptober • NaNoWriMo 2023 • How to Outline a Book • Meredith E. Phillips

Let's chat about how to OUTLINE a book for NaNoWriMo! Over the years I've become a hardcore outliner and my current method of going from story idea to ready to draft is kind of a lot. But it enables me to write a relatively solid first draft. The draft is not perfect by any means, but it's something that feels manageable and workable when it's time for revisions.

I know not everyone is an outliner and not every outliner goes into this much detail. So I hope the video gives you a few new ideas or some tactics you might want to try out for yourself. This is just what works for me when I'm outlining a book!
