@Samwel732 Bobangi is spoken on both sides of Ubangi and upper Congo rivers in Central Afican Republic and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Luhya is a Bantu language spoken in parts of Western Kenya and Eastern Uganda.
While comparing Luhya and Bobangi I noticed that the name for banana in the Nyole dialect of Luhya language is likomia and is comparable to that in Bobangi, Lokomo.
Another item worth noting is that there is a consistent pattern of naming the days of the week common to both Luhya and Bobangi:
In Luhya Tuesday is ‘Mu milimo chibili’ literally rendered as ‘in the two jobs’
In Bobangi Tuesday is 'masala ma mabale' or 'jobs of two‘
In this Video, words with similar meaning between Bobangi and Luhya are compared.
