Man on the Moon was the 2nd single off R.E.M.s 8th studio album: Automatic for the People. The album was released on October 5th, 1992, and the single was released on November 9th, 1992. I started listening and playing along to this song in October 2025. This is one of my favorites from the album to play along too. I like the drum groove in the 1 and 2nd verse followed by that cross-stick beat Bill Berry plays in the other half of the 3rd verse. Overall, the timing was perfect and there weren't very many mistakes in this take. I hope you guys enjoy it!
