Frealem Shibabaw returned from the USA to live as one of the Ethiopians, embracing the country’s way of life and culture. Feeling a deep sense of belonging at home that she never found abroad, she committed herself to making a meaningful impact in Ethiopia.

She has invested in the education sector, led a nationwide school feeding initiative, and continues to advocate and consult for its expansion. Her service to the nation includes roles as a State Minister and Commissioner in the current government.
