This is PART3 of the three part presentation. This part covers the last two module techniques; Direct Connect and Whole Blood. We describe how each works and the technology employed by both. We cover the reason each is used and the positive aspects of each interface and why you would choose one over the other.
In this part we cover the Andromeda Research Tool and why it uses the Direct Connection interface. We cover the positives and negatives of this interface and how it works. The last option we present is Whole Blood. This option, as the name implies, involves the physical movement of the part from the defective module to the salvage unit. This option is only used if you have exhausted all other possibilities.
In the last part of this presentation we cover the connection interface options (different ways to connect to parts in-circuit) available with the Andromeda Research Automotive Kits. We also show that we offer the ability for our connection options (probes, clips, etc.) to be used with third party tools.
