Here we have a round up of a few bits and bobs from the end of summer 2019.
We start with a 325 mail train overtaking a London Midland service at Atherstone before swiftly moving to Manchester for a class 67 hauled service into North Wales. Then it’s back to Atherstone for a WCRC class 47 hauled charter train. Then we have a few Pendolinos followed by a ROG class 37 hauling barrier coaches. Then we go into North London to see the last of the Virgin Trains liveried Pendolinos, London Midland services and the Caledonian Sleeper sock which is a mix of the new MK5s and the older MK3 coaches in the hands of class 92s and 86101. We also see the NMT on its way out of the capital. Then it’s back for more at Atherstone, we see the new London Northwestern Railways colours, along with another sleeper train handled by a freightliner class 90. There’s a brief layover in Newcastle where we see the soon to be replaced class 91s and a Colas liveried but GBRF leased class 60.
