When I put my mini lathe into reverse it caused the gears for the power feed to grind horribly. In this video I take you with me on a journey to diagnose what the problem is and to work out how to fix it.
We're going to be stripping down the gearbox, rebuilding it, making some new parts for the lathe and even make some tools to help us along the way.
The fix applies to the following lathe models: CJ0618, Crenex 7"x14", Clarke CL300M, Warco Mini lathe, Sieg C2 and many other brands which are based off the Chinese mini lathe design.
