打坐是一种养生健身法。闭目盘膝而坐,调整气息出入,手放在一定位置上,不想任何事情。打坐又叫“盘坐”、“静坐”。在佛教中叫“禅坐”或“禅定”,是佛教禅宗必修的。盘坐又分自然盘和双盘、单盘。打坐既可养身延寿,又可开智增慧。在中华武术修炼中,打坐也是一种修炼内功,涵养心性,增强意力的途径。打坐的特点是“静”,“久静则定,久动则疲”。因此,打坐结束后,要活动筋骨,如:打拳、舞剑、踢毽、自我按摩等等,做到“动静结合”。
