Ragas Beyond Borders represents a fusion of musical worlds, transcending geographical, cultural, and historical boundaries. This project is a celebration of diversity and the deep connection between Indian classical music and the global musical landscape.

This evening’s set list strives to explore the rich and dynamic world of Indian music, honouring the traditional aspects of it whilst blending them with elements from various genres and musical influences across the globe. By weaving together Western and Indian harmonies and rhythms, this show offers a platform for innovation and expression that speaks to the shared human experience.

The music presented tonight is a reflection of the multiplicity and authenticity of voices, encouraging dialogue between the classical and contemporary, the traditional and the modern, the East and the West. It is my belief that music, when allowed to move beyond its origins, can tell a story that resonates with all people, irrespective of their background, and Ragas Beyond Borders seeks to offer this solace, joy, and understanding in order to bridge the divide that so clearly exists within our communities and the world.
