A windy but relatively warm winter day at EAP
The test flight and rather unexpected delivery flight of one of the two Airbus A340-500s for the Kuwaiti government drew me to the airport. The hoped-for full-power takeoff on runway 33 was somewhat inconvenient, but nonetheless spectacular; I would have preferred to experience it on runway 15. I then returned to Kuwait via runway 15, but with significantly reduced thrust. However, AJet treated me to a full-power takeoff of the surprisingly heavy A321-200.
