Abandoned Cheltenham Honeybourne Railway Pt 1 of 2

Abandoned Cheltenham to Honeybourne railway looking at the un restored bits. I have done some research on this but perhaps not enough, you may enjoy a little fact checking. Every now and then someone will ask why the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway doesn't extend into Cheltenham or join the main line at Honeybourne. These films may go some way to answering this question. The old track bed certainly makes a very convenient and quick walking or cycling path into the centre of the town, as well as being a very pleasant countrified walk in a built-up area. The farther north the more wild the path gets, and from here I'm not sure what is permitted and what isn't, so if you follow you must make your own decisions regarding how far to go. There is a footpath that crosses the track just before the Hunting Butts Tunnel and that makes a good start/end point. From here you can easily walk to Cheltenham Race Course, and maybe jump on the heritage railway to Broadway to start the next adventure. This is our history disappearing into the wild, and I am trying to film what I can before it gets swallowed up forever.
