Heaton Parkrun 28/09/2024

I ran Heaton Parkrun in 20:17 and finished 22nd. My tourist streak stands at 27. I am really trying to beat my Personal Best.

Another weekend, another "beat the cameraman challenge", everyone did really well. I kind of stopped running this week. I did not know what to wear for the weather too, it could of been a raining, a heatwave, really cold and icy... or even snowing out of what we know.

The run itself is quite hilly but I'm not sure if I am used to it... but I am not finding this event challenging but it is fun to run. I also met a few dogs and a nettle stung me during the run. It is great to catch up with everyone too. Thank you to the volunteers!!

The BBC was there and interviewing (not me), I am surprisingly shy and quiet around broadcasters.
