On October 23rd, 1994, Oasis would perform at the J.C. Dobbs in Philadelphia. That show has never surfaced, so we'll wind the clocks back 5 years to a band that does have audio from the J.C. Dobbs.
Just a month and a week past the release of Bleach, Nirvana, a four-piece at this point in time, are currently making their way east. They'll stop at the famous J.C. Dobbs show on July 12th to play an almost hour-long set featuring many songs off the new album, and some rarities as well. Blandest is the big rarity of the show, with Paper Cuts coming in a close second.
The audio is ripped from the only source of audio, the audience video recording, or AMT 1. It's rough, but it's what we have, and I'm glad this exists. There are a few rumors than a genuine audience recording exists but that has yet to ever surface or be confirmed for that matter.
One source of audio that does most likely exist, is the soundboard audio of this show. The owner of the J.C. Dobbs during this moment in time sought out to record every show, but would only share the audio if the record label or band requested it.
One of only two shows I'll upload to this channel that will feature Jason Everman on second guitar. He would be kicked from the band the following week.
