Only 7 days to go until I go into hospital to get ready for surgery to get my benign bone tumour (Chondroblastoma) removed from my pelvis. The procedure is called an internal hemipelvectomy (video coming soon explaining what this is)
I had my pre-operative tests last week which went well, all but a swollen leg that I noticed the night before. This led to an unexpected LONG trip to A&E to rule out a deep vein thrombosis. This was all after spending 6 hours in Birmingham for the pre-op.
