It’s been two months since I had an internal hemipelvectomy to remove a benign bone tumour from my pelvis. The surgery involved removing the diseased bone and replacing it with a custom made titanium implant. See the video ‘Pelvic Surgery Removing a Bone Tumour’ in the description below.
This video goes over the past two months since returning home. I highlight the main lessons I’ve learnt, including what has helped me to navigate through these testing times, as well as an update on my walking progress.
