Pokèmon S/M Remix: Guzma Battle Hip-Hop Pokè Mix’

Here’s another remix from me and this time, it’s something completely different from what I usually release under my main remix channels, Poke&Remix and Relic Studio. Outside of those, I’ve also been diving into producing sample-based type beats and original hip-hop instrumentals and this project blends those two worlds together in a really exciting way.

This time, I took on Guzma’s theme, flipping it into a hard-hitting hip-hop remix that pulls heavy inspiration from the 1990s to late 2010s era of the genre though honestly, you could stretch that influence right into the 2020s. It just fits his whole energy: raw, defiant, and unpredictable. I built an addictive beat around the original theme, keeping the essence intact by sampling both the instrumentals and vocals, giving it that authentic, gritty edge.

To stay true to the genre, I even created my own producer tag something that anchors the track in the hip-hop space while still nodding to the Pokémon roots. When it came to visuals, I had a hard time finding any Guzma-related artwork that really fit the vibe until I stumbled across this piece featuring Moon (the female protagonist from the original Sun & Moon games). It clicked perfectly with the tone I was going for.
