These homemade cinnamon rolls are so soft they literally melt in your mouth! After years of dreaming about making the perfect cinnamon roll, I finally cracked the recipe and I cannot wait to share it with you. This recipe makes 12 fluffy, gooey cinnamon rolls that taste better than any bakery version.
🥣 INGREDIENTS:
For the Dough:
• 3 cups plus 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
• 1 cup warm milk
• 1 large egg
• 2¼ tsp active dry yeast
• 4 tbsp granulated sugar
• 2 tbsp butter
• ½ tsp salt
For the Filling:
• 6 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
• ¼ cup cinnamon sugar
For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
• 4 tbsp butter
• 4 oz cream cheese
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• ½ tsp vanilla extract
