Community Language Learning Method - Language Teaching Methods
The community language teaching method is proposed by Charles A. Curran & his associates in 1955. His application to psychological counseling to learning is termed “Counseling learning” a method in which learning is made by giving counseling without any study pressure.

CLL represents and is directly linked with the use of Counseling-Learning Theory to teach languages. It revolves around the humanistic approach. The humanistic approach deals with the study of every individual as a unique being with special needs, aims, and learning styles. This learning technique revolves around the counselor-client technique. It takes the teacher as a counselor and students as clients in a classroom learning atmosphere.
