solo in europe: week 3, milan and lake como

This trip started on September 16th, 2024! After graduating from college, I decided to buy a one way ticket to Italy and take my time seeing different sights throughout Europe. My travels ended up taking 3 months (I went to 11 countries!) and although most of the time I was exploring alone, I met up with some friends and family along the way! These aren't vlogs with awesome cinematography or cool editing, but they are complete and real recounts of how I spent my time. I hope that they can be even an eensy bit informational to anyone hoping to do the same thing, or just a little entertaining to anyone else who happens to be watching. If anything, they'll serve as fun video diaries for me to look back on! Sooooo yeah, follow along if you'd like...I plan on posting a new video each week!

Really nice hostel just a short metro ride away from anything g you’d want to see. I paid $10 for a bus ride from the airport to the city center. I recommend going into and on top of the Duomo. I mostly just walked around the city, but that meant I missed out of some pretty famous art that is housed in Milan and clubbing with hostel people. This hostel is great for meeting people though, there is a bar and lots of nice common areas.

The cutest little house and the best host. Super accommodating. It’s a quieter town (Abbadia Lariana) with beautiful views and it’s just a train ride away from other pretty towns in Lake Como.
