solo in europe: week 11, st. moritz

This trip started on September 16th, 2024! After graduating from college, I decided to buy a one way ticket to Italy and take my time seeing different sights throughout Europe. My travels ended up taking 3 months (I went to 11 countries!) and although most of the time I was exploring alone, I met up with some friends and family along the way! These aren't vlogs with awesome cinematography or cool editing, but they are complete and real recounts of how I spent my time. I hope that they can be even an eensy bit informational to anyone hoping to do the same thing, or just a little entertaining to anyone else who happens to be watching. If anything, they'll serve as fun video diaries for me to look back on! Sooooo yeah, follow along if you'd like...I plan on posting a new video each week!

Good location. A bit of a walk from the train station if you are carrying a lot of luggage. Definitely just a place for very short-term stays. Microwave/kitchen area was a plus and was pretty clean overall.

National Museum Illuminarium Show - honestly no idea if this just happens during Christmastime or if they have other showings, but it was a super cool display of visual/video art. Super cheap and you get to skip the line into the beautifully decorated courtyard where there is food and drinks.

Amazing hosts. Super responsive and very, very accommodating! Cozy, yet spacious. Great location, walkable to the lifts (if you time the season right). Super cute town that is close to the main St. Moritz town by bus or train, and the bus stop to all the other ski areas is just a short walk away from the apartment. Very highly recommend.

Super nice and helpful workers. Close to the lifts at Corvatsch (which is where I went first). Skis and snowboards of all levels. Boots and helmets too.

Restaurant Uondas (spelled “Restorant Uondas” in the video because that’s what Apple Maps said lol). Cool vibes and great food, just on the pricier side.
