As coaches, we know our athletes will never move better than we do.
So when you demo a pull-up, a clean, or a squat — you’re not just showing what to do, you’re showing how much you care about doing it well.
In this short video, I break down the standard I hold myself to when demoing movements, using pull-ups as the example. It’s a reminder that coaching isn’t just about cues — it’s about clarity, precision, and presence.
Because if my athletes are going to move slightly worse than I do,
then my demo has to be perfect.
