Your heart was wide, your spirit true,
A guiding light in all we knew.
With steadfast hands and tireless will,
You shaped each task with patient skill.
No burden heavy, no road too long,
Your work became a noble song.
A patriot’s soul burned bright in you,
To serve and stand for what was true.
Your passion for duty, firm and strong,
Taught us the courage to correct the wrong.
Yet in your strength, so brave, so wise,
There dwelled a love that never dies.
A tender heart, as soft as dove,
You gave us all a mother’s love.
Though time has called you far above,
We walk this world with what you gave..
Your love, your duty, your shining flame,
Forever living in your name.
