“Consent” လို့ခေါ်တဲ့ အလိုသဘောတူညီမှုဟာ ကျန်းမာပြီး အပြန်အလှန် လေးစားမှုရှိတဲ့ ဆက်ဆံရေးတစ်ခုကို ပုံဖော်ရာမှာ အလွန်အရေးပါတဲ့ အရာတစ်ခုပဲ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ လူမှုအသိုင်းအဝိုင်းမှာ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ရဲ့ လူမှုမျှော်မှန်းချက်နဲ့ ယဉ်ကျေးမှုစံနှုန်းများကြောင့် လိင်ပိုင်းဆိုင်ရာ အကြမ်းဖက်မှုများနဲ့ အလွဲသုံးစားလုပ်မှုများကို အများအားဖြင့် အာဏာရရှိထားသူ အမျိုးသားများမှ ကျူးလွန်လေ့ရှိကြပါတယ်။

သဘောတူညီမှုရယူချက် consent ရဲ့ အရေးပါပုံကို အမျိုးသားများအနေဖြင့် ပိုမိုသိရှိနားလည်စေရန် ♂️ မြန်မာအမျိုးသားများအတွက် ♂️ ရည်ရွယ်ပြီး Purple Feminists Group မှ 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 ဆိုတဲ့ တစ်ရက်တာ အလုပ်ရုံဆွေးနွေးပွဲကို အောင်မြင်စွာ ဦးဆောင်ပြုလုပ်ပေးနိုင်ခဲ့တဲ့အတွက် ဝမ်းသာဂုဏ်ယူမိပါတယ်။

သင်တန်းရဲ့ အဓိကရည်ရွယ်ချက်ကတော့ ကျန်းမာသော ဆက်ဆံရေးတစ်ခုအား ဖော်ဆောင်နိုင်စေရန် အမျိုးသားများရဲ့ ပါဝင်မှုကို အားသန်စေရန် ရည်ရွယ်ပြီး ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်အား အကြမ်းဖက်မှုနည်းသော၊ ဂျဲန်ဒါ ပုံသေကားချက်များအား အတူတူတိုက်ဖျက်နိုင်သော၊ ပိုမိုလုံခြုံစိတ်ချရသော ဝန်းကျင်တစ်ခုကို ဖန်တီးနိုင်စေဖို့ရာ ရည်ရွယ်ပါတယ်။

ဒီအလုပ်ရုံဆွေးနွေးပွဲမှာ အသဘောတူညီမှုရယူခြင်းရဲ့ သဘောတရားနဲ့ အရေးကြီးပုံတို့ကို အုပ်စုဖွဲ့ဆွေးနွေးခြင်းများ၊ Case Studiesများဖြင့် လေ့လာသင်ယူခွင့်ရရှိခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။ ဒီအလုပ်ရုံဆွေးနွေးပွဲကနေတဆင့် မိမိမိသားစု၊ သူငယ်ချင်းတွေမိတ်ဆွေတွေရဲ့ ဆန္ဒသဘောထားကို အလေးထားနိုင်ဖို့နဲ့ မိမိအတွက် အဆင်မ‌ပြေတဲ့အရာတွေကို ငြင်းဆိုဖို့ ခွန်အားမွေးမြူပြီး ကျင့်သုံးနိုင်ဖို့ မျှော်လင့်ပါတယ်။

“Consent” acts as a cornerstone of promoting mutual respect, equity, autonomy between relationships and intimacy. In the society, a numerous cases of sexual violence, abuse and harassment are perpetrated by men due to societal norms around masculinity and power. By understanding and practicing consent, it helps men to become allies in preventing gender-based violence and challenging harmful gender norms.

This workshop was exclusively designed for men aged 14 to 35 to engage in a focus group discussion on the topic of consent. Through interactive discussion, participants got a chance to explore the meaning of consent, importance of consent, and how consent works. The goal was to create a supportive space where men can learn from informative discussion, reflect from case studies, and share their perspectives in a secure environment.

We hope this workshop will bright a light to be able to respect another person's boundary and find courage to say 'no' to the things that make us uncomfortable.
