Greater Blight Drone of Nurgle with True Rust| Painting guides | Warhammer 40k

Hello, friends. I am Nukebrush and today we are going to make greater blight drone of Nurgle from Forge World.
"Hear that buzzing? Doom is coming." Take a flying machine, add some flesh, a pinch of daemonic insect larvae, season it with the blessing of Grandfather Nurgle and - voila - a Blight Drone is ready. The unique combination that should not exist, but it still does, as it defies the laws of nature and logic. Generously gifted by the god of plague and decay, this creature itself is a full-fledged carrier of infection, rot and all-consuming rust. The monotonous hum of fans and the incessant buzz of billions of insects clinging to the ulcerated flesh of the Blight Drone merge into a single hum that echoes across the battlefields and strikes fear not only into the subjects of the Emperor. The especially unlucky (or gifted) can discern individual sounds and even words in this cacophony. But only the most loyal followers of Grandfather Nurgle truly understand what they mean...
The last work this year and the first independently flying object on this channel. This is also my way of saying THANK YOU to all my subscribers - First Hundred, you are the best!
As for the work itself - here you will find at least three ways to apply rust - from regular paint and enamel washes to the real model chemistry. And also in the video - we paint rotting flesh and an inflamed eye, apply chipping to the model in two ways, create a full-fledged custom stand for our drone and other interesting little things.
