As much as Nandina is valued in the South , it has its detractors. But I am emphatically not one of them! I find them invaluable in the landscape, for holiday decorating, and cut flower arrangements, and as an overall tough and easy care plant. I’ve listed some of my favorite varieties here, especially those from the Southern Living Plant Collection. They do not set berries if that is a concern of yours, are are extremely beautiful, different, and well behaved shrubs. I couldn’t live without their contribution to my garden!
