The fifth of the #NoBackToNormal #degrowthtalks series exploring how to do business in a degrowth economy with Oli Sylvester Bradley, Ashish Kothari and Juliet Schor. In this session, we talk to our panel of practitioners and thinkers of alternative economic practices. We will discuss how across the world, post-capitalist forms of production, work and enterprise are changing the world, right now.
Oli Sylvester Bradley is a co-founder of The Open Co-op and the Open Credit Network, co-inventor of the Murmurations protocol for the cooperative economy, founder of ethical jobs site Elevator Cafe and of the campaign group Economic Rebellion. He specialises in communications and marketing strategies which encourage a more just and sustainable world. He runs The Open Co-op’s annual two-day conference in London on platform co-ops to encourage the development of open, co-operative organisations which are owned and managed by their members. From 2005 to 2011 he worked as the Marketing Manager of Solarcentury and helped initiate the UK solar feed-in tariff with the We Support Solar campaign. He currently supports SolarAid with their marketing.
