Homemade Baslog | Soft & Delicious Traditional Persian Candy 🍬
Learn how to make classic Persian Baslog at home — soft, fragrant, and perfectly sweetened! Step-by-step instructions make it easy even for beginners.
Ingredients:
1 cup water
20g butter
½ tbsp vanilla
5 tbsp rose water
Cornstarch
Sugar
Coconut powder & walnut (for garnish)
Quick Instructions:
1. Mix cornstarch, water, sugar, rose water, and vanilla until smooth.
2. Cook on low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and becomes sticky.
3. Add butter and mix well.
4. Continue cooking 30–40 minutes on low heat for soft texture and fragrant flavor.
5. Shape into walnut-sized pieces, roll in coconut powder, and place a half walnut in the center.
