Today I purchased the NEW Harbor Freight Central Machinery Shop Press Brake Attachment. Inital test was on 3/8 scrap steel from an old 3-ton floor jack.

If you want the press brake attachment to sit flat without stacking the press blocks, try this.
The jack top saddle sits in a "cup" that's welded to the top plate. The 2 press plates stacked are 2 inches thick. I removed both springs, unscrewed the saddle by just under 2 inches. The eyelet bolts that the bottom of the spring attached to had about 1 inch of threads showing. I backed the nut off exposing about 1/8 threads. I used a flat screwdriver to stretch the spring back into the eyelet. This does mean the spring has about 1 inch of additional stretch, but it seems fine. Buying 1" longer eyelets bots would be ideal
