There are two types: Plain and Flavored (Italian Style).
Ingredients for Breadcrumbs Plain and Italian Style:-
Dry bread
Fresh parsley minced
Pecorino Romano cheese grated
Fresh garlic minced
Directions:-
Fresh Italian bread should be stored in a paper bag sleeve or paper bag. Bread in a plastic bag will mold.
If kept on paper it can last for weeks without altering the taste. This is a great way to never throw out stale bread and save money on not buying breadcrumbs.
Step#1- In a food processor add dry bread and pulse to desired crumbs.
Step#2- To make Italian-style bread crumbs chop parsley and garlic. Add Pecorino Romano. Use immediately due to fresh ingredients in it.
