Rose Alabovitz of Tamaqua, PA talks about her experience with Dr. Joseph Saka at PA Foot and Ankle Associates.
Rose first came to see Dr. Saka regarding a painful bone spur. Over the years, Rose had also developed Flexible Flatfoot syndrome, hammer toes and bunions. These foot conditions are a problem for anyone, but they were especially problematic for Rose, who stands on her feet all day as a hairdresser. To complicate matters, her foot problems were also causing knee and back problems. Her pain was constant.She had given up walking her dogs and carrying her grand children.
With a number of surgeries, Dr. Saka restored flexibility to Rose's feet, rebuilt her arch and corrected her bunions and hammertoes. Rose believes she can now work as long as she wants to in her hair salon and looks forward to long walks in the park with her dogs after her feet have completely healed.
