Hi all! We are Alexus and Michi, PhD students at University of Hawaii at Manoa and small YouTubers living in Hawaii. This week, Alexus (Biological Oceanography, Marine Ecology) explains how she first became interested in science, talks about her undergraduate experience studying Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at University of Arizona, how she got started in research, why she made the switch from Herpetology to Marine Science, and how she chose her PhD program studying Deep-Sea Zooplankton Ecology at UH Manoa.
